About 15 minutes drive from Weymouth is the island of Portland, and at its southern tip is Portland Bill and its three lighthouses. The most famous a large and imposing white and red striped lighthouse operating to warn seafaring folk of the mile long underwater ridge which runs along this section of coast.
Situated on the Lulworth Estate and the Jurassic Coastline of Dorset, sits this little limestone delight. A natural formation in the rocks produced by countless years of battering by the sea, it is another pretty and photogenic tourist attraction.
